A woman and her two minor children were allegedly burnt alive by her husband in a Bihar village reportedly after his dowry demands were not met, police said Thursday.
Suman Devi along with her seven-year-old son and four-year-old daughter were burnt alive Wednesday by Rajiv Singh in Pagahiya village of Muzaffarpur district, about 80 km from here.
According to the police, he tied the victims to a cot inside their home and set them on fire after sprinkling kerosene. The police recovered the three charred bodies from the house.
Suman's father Parshu Ram Singh accused his son-in-law of killing the three after his dowry demands were not fulfilled. The accused was absconding, police said
